The Flat Head‘s back for this edition of Fade of the Day, with this pair of 3009’s, belonging to Adisal, a rock climbing denimhead who hangs his hat in Singapore. Adisal has been rocking these jeans for three years now, and they look all the better for it.
He tells us that these Flat Heads have been his go-to jeans for his day job as a routesetter at a climbing gym, as well as many real-time bouldering trips all over Asia. This active lifestyle has not only led to some stellar fades, it’s prompted countless washes, which has allowed the denim to develop a rich, blue cast that compliments the faded areas perfectly.
In addition to some solid whiskering that spans the whole lap, super-faded knees, and serious puckering on the waistband, we’ve got a seriously faded seat that’s been shredded so hard that Adisal has lost one back pocket and had to reinforce the other!
