Fade of the Day – A.P.C. Petit Standard (3 Years, 1 Wash, Soak)

A.P.C‘s Petit Standards have always been major contenders in the denim world, and today’s Fade of the Day from Nathan Fetsch illustrates why this pair of denim has always been a favorite of denim heads.

Nathan has been wearing these bad boys for three years, and by his own admission he has done very little to keep them clean. Due to daily wear and infrequent washing, he got a pretty large crotch blow out, but Nathan patched it himself, despite a lack of sewing experience. He wanted to be a part of the mending process and keep them as individualistic as possible.

The whiskering and honeycombs are well defined and interspersed with nice dirty fades, some of which have yielded pops of white. There is a prominent wallet outline in the back pocket and the entire seat and thighs have sustained serious wear.
