The UK’s Pete Sullivan is becoming a bit of a legend for his Fade Of The Day contributions. I think this entry makes it a baker’s dozen for him, and it’s all been quality goods.
This time we feature his Timberland Boot Co. Chelsea boots. Unlike the standard Timberland fare, the Timberland Boot Co. functions like Red Wing Heritage or similar sub-brands that focus on vintage workwear reproductions. Over the past decade, he’s worn them primarily in the fall and winter, or whenever he rode his motorcycle or scooter, and all that wear has paid off in a killer patina.
The leather has taken on a beautiful, rich red undertone and has darkened in places of heavy wear and exposure. Smooth, buttery creases and a well-scuffed toe box round out this pair.
