Put on your thinking caps, grab your magnifying glasses, and take a little puff on your pipe because we have a wee mystery for today’s Fade of the Day: what exactly are these Uniqlo jeans?

These images were sent in by Alex Chong of Malaysia who says he wore them daily. In fact, it seems these were the pair of “raw” denim jeans he bought, back when he had never heard of raw denim, selvedge, or anything else like that. As a result, Alex didn’t give these jeans much thought, but it turns out that he has some nice fades on his hands for his first pair of raws.
