It’s time again for Fade of the Day! This pair of Levi’s Vintage Clothing 1954 501z from Eric in Pittsburgh have over 8 years of wear on them, and they’re still in perfect working order, despite some repairs and wear.
Labor-worn from construction and landscaping, these 501s in question have needed some sashiko stitching for the thread-bare crotch, work that Eric did himself.
There’s some lovely knee whiskering to behold, as well as a nicely contrasted wallet fade. The jeans are complete with sashiko reinforcements on the front leg and back pocket, which result in a garment that is wholly Eric’s. The jeans are sound, though they may not survive another 8 years of labor…but who knows!
