The end of the week is reserved for the best of the bunch, and pair that beat out the competition came from Indonesia’s Ramadhan Rizky. His Oldblue Co. Boneyard 2’s are looking excellent, and they’re our Fade Friday.
Ramadhan has worn the pair since March of 2017, but only when on holiday. His trusty pair for motorbiking and other activities, they’ve held up quite well and haven’t needed any repairs from all the action. They have, however; lost plenty of indigo. From the waistband to the knee we’ve got textbook desirable fade patterns: plenty of high-contrast whiskers running from the lap down through the thigh, and encompassing both sides of the knee. The high level of indigo loss at the thigh is countered with a nice amount of retention at the shin, with some subtle stacks forming at the hem. Around back we see some densely stacked honeycombs with some fades streaking up towards the hamstrings.
