Fade Friday – The Worker Shield Twindigo (15 Months, 7 Washes, Unknown Soaks)

Check out the waterfall fades on these Twindigo jeans by The Worker Shield, sent to us by Denny Arsena in Indonesia for this week’s Fade Friday. Denny wears these on his daily grind while commuting and working as a freelance graphic designer, and they’ve come a long way in 1 year and 3 months. With 7 washes, it’s shown some serious lightening in indigo but has kept some obvious evidence of their original form through these contrasting fades.

The fabric used on these jeans produces an interesting vertical falling effect on the way the indigo is lost from wear, and they’re very texturally pleasing, as you can see. As always on a Fade Friday, the whiskers and honeycombs are especially satisfying. It’s obvious Denny put a lot of consistent wear into these, though he’s taking great care of them as well — they haven’t needed a repair yet!
