All hail the Regular Taper, the once and future king of jeans styles!
As more and more courageous brands step forward into the light of a better future sans skinny cuts and low rises, we see more and more options in the realm of the relaxed. Three-year-old Japanese brand, Hatski, focuses primarily on comfortable, flattering fits such as these. Their Loose Taper mimics the style so popular in Japan, with a high rise, roomy top block, and a rather drastic taper. The unsanforized 15.6oz. denim has been given one wash so the tightly-woven denim should already be well on its way to being soft and comfortable.
Hatski keeps things minimal and simple with basic five-pocket construction and a classic leather patch. But don’t let any of that fool you. It’s all top-notch, made in Japan.
