These 18 oz. Raizo Denim sent to us by Faizal in Malaysia are so crispy, they’re practically deep-fried. They also happen to be today’s Fade of of the Day.
These jeans have only been soaked once, which explains the sharply contrasted, vein-like faded lines and honeycombs throughout, and the deep blues that still remain on the surface of the denim. These have broken in nicely so far, but they’re still a ways away from retirement.
Faizal uses these working as a delivery dispatch on his motorbike, which explains the nicely faded seat. There’s a couple of faded spots on the pockets where Faizal stores his everyday carry items, a wallet fade on the backside where the arc stitching is starting to go, possibly a phone fade on the other pocket too. The jeans are still pretty dark, and lots of life is left after only 10 months of being worn, but they’re definitely worth showing off.
