Maker and ‘The Big Cheese’ behind Aegis Handcraft, Jess Murray, recently switched things up and changed the brand’s name to Poorwill but they’re still continuing to pump out the goods. The Chore Jacket is Poorwill’s take on a classic military-inspired workwear piece.
The blend of brushed canvas and HBT makes for a noticeable, but subtle contrast. Each piece is hand-numbered and batch-made with features like dual front pockets, overlocked finished edges, bar tacked pockets and snap button closure. Cut loose, boxy, and with mid-weight fabric, the Chore Jacket is a year-rounder.
