Arpenteur Ties Up a Gabardine Work Vest

Arpenteur’s latest Quart Vest is everything a vest should be, functional, rugged, element-resistant, and hopefully warm if you’re layered up properly.

This one’s cut from 100% cotton Gabardine cloth, and lined with some sort of charcoal-dyed sherpa, so it’s potentially the not-always-necessary-but-nice-to-have layer you’re looking for to warm up in this winter, assuming it’s at all cold where you are. The North Pole, I presume, and though you may be one of Santa’s elves, I don’t think the big man would mind it if you wore this over your tacky tunic. It’s cold outside the workshop! Like way below freezing, Master Claus.

Made in France, other details on the Quart Vest include three button closure, a waist tie (something you don’t see often on a vest), and two hand warming pockets. Don’t reach for the tacky Christmas gear this season, but if there’s a tacky sweater contest at your place of work, this vest can cover it up after the votes have been tallied.

Available for $290 at Tanner Goods.
