Butts & Shoulders Vegetable Tanned Weekend Bag

I’ve literally had the same blue nylon duffle for a decade and I’m not even sure who made it, making me particularly unsuitable to talk about bags of any kind… so let’s talk about bags. In particular, let’s talk about the Butts and Shoulders Vegetable Tanned Weekender, a tough-yet-distinguished-looking SOB that was built (mostly) to torture those into these sort of things.

And for Those Into These Sorts of Things, I don’t feel weird introducing you to this bag. Like I said, I have Wrangler-level taste when it comes to my travel accessories, but I can appreciate good ones when I see them* and this is a good one.

(*Kind of like when you meet someone dope at a bar who’s out of your league, but makes sense for your buddy sitting in a booth on the other side. Support the homies and all that.)

Made in Portugal with a vegetable-tanned leather from Pelle Conciata al Vegetale in Tuscany—again, I’m in over my head but I trust that this is good—this beautiful, patina-ready blank canvas features handles, shoulder straps, an interior zipper pocket, an exterior side pocket, a subtle rubber base-plate for durability’s sake and a zipper top.

Because Butts and Shoulders appear to be generous vendors, a free wallet is also included with the purchase of this bag, and so is the Airport Style God-level swag that would presumably be oozing out of your pores.

Available at Butts and Shoulders for €759 (~$841 USD).
