Collect Group Introduces New Brand Negative Denim

Collect Group, the owners of Momotaro and Japan Blue, have launched a new brand: Negative Denim.

Negative Denim may be brand new, but they’re already setting records. They’ve dyed the indigo threads in their new jeans 32 times, which is double the industry standard. They’ve also utilized ozone-processing to discolor sweatshirts and included a “coin” pocket in their raw denim jeans that’s large enough to accommodate a smartphone!

The brand’s xuts vary from a basic slim-tapered cut (ND-PT004) to more inventive drape-y silhouettes, like their wide leg model (ND-PT001), both of which use their signature 32-dip rope-dye denim. The one-wash 13.7 oz. denim is versatile and is already being used in a slew of outerwear pieces, most of which will hopefully be coming to retailers like Okayama Denim soon.
