Now, normally I would refuse to write about a front pocket wallet user but I guess I can make an exception for Luke from San Francisco since the patina on his wallet is so dang satisfying.

Given to him by his half-brother around ’07, Luke has been having an affair with this D-R Leather Goods Card Holder for the last 14 years and it easy to see why he can’t quit it. In his words, “no other wallet ever measures up to it”.

Starting off lightly toasted, the vegetable-tanned leather went full campfire marshmallow on us and the results couldn’t be better. The cardholder has never been conditioned, unless you consider water and sweat, conditioning, in which case, it’s gotten a lot of conditioning.  Not sure how much more aging this thing has left in it but I have a feeling that by the next update, it’s going to be a gorgeous shade of Vantablack.
