Vadim in St. Petersburg is sending fades from Russia with love… and with barely any indigo left to wear away. For over 7 years, Vadim has pushed his Iron Hearts to the limit, clearly wearing them any chance he got. Just like old photographs developing in a dark room, the creases and fades on these jeans were surely flushed out by numerous washes over the years, turning them into wearable art.

The lap lines are a dizzying overlap of ovals, the knee craters were actually from the meteor that took out the dinosaurs, and the honeycombs have this great dark light and scribbly motion to them. The seat couldn’t be worn in any better, with just perfectly imperfect rips in both back pockets. Although, it’s the sun streak on left shin that I love the most. Vadim, are you sure you didn’t find these in an abandoned mine shaft?
