Corlection Lands A Collaborative 25 oz. Samurai Jean Crammed With Charm

Can you imagine if Wu Tang’s first album was a pair of jeans? Let me put it another way, this pair of Samurai “Attack Like Flame” 25 oz. jeans — made exclusively for Corlection — is the denim embodiment of that album, with so many details sampling Samurai culture, even RZA would be proud.

The King of the Samurai, Musashi, provides the name for these, with “Attack Like Flame” being the core spirit of his Fire Book and inspiration for Japanese Samurai for hundreds of years. The weight of the 25 oz. denim ties back to the heavy armour and helmets donned way back, and thanks to the use of full-staple cotton with copious amounts of grand indigo dyed into the fibers, you’ll develop fades that’ll mimic the slash marks of the sharpest blade. You know what else is sharp? The strongly tapered fit with a nice, high rise.

The heavyweight HBT inner pockets feature a camo discharge print for when you’re blending in, stalking your next victim, and the smooth cotton satin inner yoke takes you on a trip down memory lane with artwork depicting the biggest domestic samurai battle. It doesn’t end there, the finest katanas, along with the blood usually found on them, provide the source material for the gold flakes within the selvedge ID and the red stitching used on the buttonholes, belt loops, and arcs.

Made in Japan, limited to 80 pairs  — and ready to Bring Da Ruckus — these thoroughly thought-out jeans are finished with 24k gold-plated iron buttons, which over time will chip and fade just like a sword after a battle.
