Freenote Cloth’s Clemens Jacket Is Workwear Blouson With Attitude

Though sometimes a purist, I can admit when a reproduction piece surpasses the reference material. In the case of the Clemens Jacket from Freenote Cloth, I think their take on the garage jacket/blouson might just be better than an original.

For starters, the jacket comes in a heavy-duty waterproof canvas, and is lined with chambray for your comfort. Satin sleeves make it easy to slip on and off and an interior pocket gives you a place to store your goodies. But perhaps the best part is the pattern. Sometimes old work jackets had awkward patch pockets on the exterior that made the silhouette seem bulky and a little strange. Freenote has resolved with the addition of two handwarmer pockets and repositioning the patch pockets up to the chest area. The result is a flattering piece that is just as aesthetically pleasing as it is practical. Guess we can have it all.

Made in the U.S.A. from premium fabrics and hardware, hurry up and grab it before Fall rolls around.
