35Summers Revived 1980s Sears Label, Braggin Dragon

So, you’re familiar with the likes of the Polo Ralph Lauren polo dude, the Lacoste alligator, and of course the US Polo Assn. …polo dude. You might even know the Lyle & Scott eagle thing. But what do you know about the 1980s Braggin Dragon Label from Sears, aka the embroidered logo that could torch any label that stands in its way? Chances are you are unfamiliar which is fine because, in classic resurrector fashion, old-school Japanese heritage manufacturer 35Summers is bringing back Daddy Roebucks’ answer to Izod with a pair of poplin golf jackets in maize and oyster colorways.

Although made for the course, this windbreaker/drizzler style did well off of it, adopted by many brands from the 60s through to the 80s. And its easy to see why the Braggin Dragon deserves some bragging rights above all others. From its dry-touch typewriter cotton to its iconic front patch pockets, this cleaner-than-clean spring/summer top layer has it all. Closed out with a period-correct YKK zipper, adjustable button cuffs, and of course a dang fire-breathing dragon embroidered logo that is a cute Lacoste rip-off, what more could you really ask for?
