Grant Stone Renders its Edward & Brass Boots in Garnet Shell Cordovan

The Grant Stone Edward Boot in Garnet Shell Cordovan is calling all lovers of well-made boots, oxblood-esque colorways, and lustrous sheen. The Edward was already one of the best-looking dress boots out there, but then GS went ahead and cut some up from one of the newer shell cordovan colorways — garnet. Premiering in 2016, garnet shell cordovan is a dreamy reddish-brown color that has to be seen to be believed, it’s that good.

This new rendition of the Edward is fully lined with full-grain leather kip and features a veg-tan leather insole, welt, and midsole, a cork filler, and steel shank, tight-grain leather heel counters, and a leather outsole cut from double-bend leather hides. All made by hand in Grant Stone’s partner factory in Xiamen Island, China, the boots are made with Goodyear welt construction, so you can keep wearing them for many years – all the while that Garnet shell gets darker and richer with time

Available for $695 from Grant Stone.
