Allevol Garment-Dyed and Washed Its Heavy Duty Tees For That Perfect Mid-Century Feel

If finding a deadstock colored tee and wearing and washing said tee until it is perfectly rinsed, faded, and patinated sounds long to you (it should) then consider Allevol‘s Heavy Duty Hand-Dyed Tees.

Allevol’s new Heavy Duty tees were created to mirror the vintage feel of classic mid-century athletic tees. You know, the kind you see hanging up in a decent Americana-centric vintage store for around $200? To create a heavy but soft tee with a lived-in feel,  Allevol had tees made on vintage knitting machines from specially selected high-grade cotton, before garment dyeing, steaming, and washing them to create the gorgeous summer-ready colorways you see before you.

Prior to washing, madder-root was used to achieve that lush dusty pink color, whilst blends of Fustic, Myrobalan and Cutch were used to create the yellow and orange colorways. The result is 3 sexy tones that look straight out of some sort of 60s/70s Americana tee archive, without the unrelatable print of some school/athletic set-up you weren’t a part of. Pair any of these with some fatigues or faded denim, and you have a timeless fit.

Each tee is finished with an Allevol neck label and available at Clutch Cafe for $110 while stocks last.
