The Long John x Blue Blanket Denim Jacket is Made of Deadstock Raw Denim From the 80s

The Long John x Blue Blanket Denim Jacket is a limited edition denim jacket brought to you by the denim reproduction brand Blue Blanket and denim magazine Long John. Maybe I don’t have to tell you, but if a denim mag does a jacket collab with Blue Blanket, chances are sky-high that said jacket is going to be pretty darn cool. And, it is, but don’t take my word for it – look for yourself!

Based on a slim-fitting denim jacket from Long John’s vintage archives reminiscent of a Lee Rider jacket, the Jacket is made entirely in Italy, cut from a deadstock lightweight yet rigid 12.5oz. left-hand twill denim from the 1980s. This NOS fabric is going to hold its form as you break it into a high-contrast faded relic that’s perfectly formed to your torso.

Featuring a chainstitch-embroidered horseshoe and script design commemorating the limited collab, along with embroidery on the chest, this absolute darling of a denim blouson features dual chest pockets, metal button closure, pleated front, black cat eye button adjusting hem, adjustable cuffs, single needle stitching, bar tack reinforcements, locker loop, and a Blue Blanket x Long John tag.

Available for $436 from Long John.
