Fade Friday – Ron Herman RHD01-RW-E01 (2 Years, Unknown Washes)

Brendan in Ontario has been fading his Ron Herman jeans for 2 long pandemic years but it’s good to know that his efforts after all that time were not in vane but many veins.  Indigo veins, that is — popping out of these slim fit USA-made selvedge.

Worn quite literally every day, Brendan’s jeans have understandably got their suds on countless times – and for good reason. Working as a mechanic, our Canadian cousin is using his pair of jeans as literal workwear fixing cars on his feet, knees, and while laying on the ground.  As a result of his manual labor, these Ron Hermans are looking like the quintessential pair of mid-century blue jeans which were worn without a care in the best way.

These Ron Hermans balance a great mix of washed-out faded areas and precise crease lines. But achieving such beautiful hues doesn’t come without its sacrifices. Yup, we’re talking tune-ups like crotch darns and inseam reinforcements by Toronto’s Doctor Denim, all of which were needed to keep these jeans on the road.
