Fade Friday – Wrangler Denim Coat (42 Years)

In a true blast from the past, for this week’s Fade Friday, we’re treated to some true vintage denim by way of Declan in Ireland. Worn for over 42 years, his Wrangler Western Coat has been slow-roasted resulting in some great cowboy-esque fades that are getting better by the day.

Clearly the Boyhood of denim fades, Declan was given this jacket by his parents as a kid, and though Declan grew up, this Wrangler piece had his back no matter what. After tapering off his wear throughout his college years, he rediscovered the relic in a shed he keeps. Naturally, it was folded right back into the rotation, being worn for labor around his small forest plot. With its light blue complexion thanks to many washes over the years and tons of unconditional wears, the rips and stains are simply part of the package, representing authentic wear in its purest sense.
