Big John’s XXXX-EXTRA Lot.XX001 Jeans Aren’t Too Heavy

One of the OGs in the Japanese denim racket has been quietly churning out quality denim since the late 60s and if you aren’t tuned in yet, you’d better pay them some mind. And some money, for their great historical reproductions. Of course, that brand is Big John and this time the jean in the spotlight is the XXXX-Extra Lot.XX001 Regular Straight Fit Denim. That’s a lot of Xs.

Coming in at 15.8oz, these slightly wide straight jeans are substantial in weight without going overboard, and classic in style without getting too miner cosplay with it. In other words, if you’re looking for a daily driver, you could do a lot worse than these iron donut-buttoned, copper-riveted, cow-hide leather patched jeans. But we haven’t even mentioned the best part, to make the fabric, 5 different types of organic cotton from 5 continents were used making these jeans some of the most worldly pieces of denim we’ve ever seen.

Available for $245 from Hinoya.
