Kiriko x Bridge & Burn Release Indigo-Laden Capsule Collection

Many a collaboration can be a lazy way for two brands working together to simply make a new color or add a pocket to an already existing product. Some truly magical ones, however, bring together new fabrics, new silhouettes, and new details that add to a deep conversation between both parties.

The collaboration between Portlanders Bridge & Burn and Kiriko is just that, and it gives us nearly a dozen genuinely original pieces. Bridge & Burn is known for their function-first West Coast aesthetic, Kiriko for their reworking of vintage Japanese textiles, and the cocktail they created is part nineteenth century Japanese peasant, part 1980s Patagonia, and a healthy dose of Filson.

The capsule collection spans chinos, shirts, outerwear, overalls, and more, for both men and women. Highlights include the Maru pant and the Warusawa overshirt jacket on the mens’ side and the jaw-dropper Aino pullover on the women’s–they say it’s one size fits all, and I hope fits me.

You can find it all from $138 – $288 at Bridge & Burn and at Kiriko.
