Clocking in at just 11 months of wear, Heddels reader Hendy Heriyanto of Jakarta, Indonesia, couldn’t wait to show off the fades he’s earned on this pair of Unbranded UB401’s. Lucky for him, that’s fine with us—we like to see well-worn, patinated objects of all kinds, from raw denim to leather and even your old coffee mug.
Hendy wears his UBs about five to six days a week, time generally spent riding his motorcycle to and from campus, and occasionally getting caught in those inescapable rain storms. That, along with the climate and humidity of Jakarta have made it easy to really break in and beat up these jeans, which look great so far.
While the true fades are just starting to form around the knees and seat, the wear marks throughout the waist, thighs and behind the knees are forming nicely, promising for great fades down the line.
