Bay Area Denim Fest Denim Bruin 2017 Kicks Off This Weekend

As festival season draws to a close, the good folks over at Denimbro are gearing up for this year’s Denim Bruin, the Bay Area’s premier denim event. The selvedge-fuelled weekender commences this Friday, and denimheads from across the globe are welcome to come and enjoy three days of jeans, beers, and bros.

Although this fest may have come to fruition through a shared passion for denim, brands like Red Wing Heritage and Hollows Leather mean you can get your fix of leather-lovin’ too. And as well as enjoying exhibits from big-hitting denim labels like Indigofera and Ooe Yofukuten, you can sample the whiskeys and bitters of California’s own Workhorse Rye — if that’s your thing.

The weekend will kick off on Friday, July 28 with an exhibition of late nineteenth-century workwear provided by Mike and Charla Harris, before two days of exhibits, which will include live chain stitching by Crooked 8 on Saturday. And like last year, the events will be hosted at AB Fits, and Standard & Strange, two of the Bay Area’s top destinations for premium goods. Don’t be shy, because this one is free to attend for anyone and everyone.
