With Chinese New Year, only a few months behind us, it’s only right that we feature a pair of Naked & Famous‘ Chinese New Year Fire Rooster jeans to grab. Owned by Ashland, Oregon’s Eli Palombo, this jean is our Fade Of The Day.

As we exit the year of the rooster let’s take a look at how this pair of fire roosters developed over the last 8 months. We see a pair that’s fully broken in and has developed a ton of great creases which have begun to fade nicely. With only 30 minutes of logged soak time thus far, those deep creases will shed a load more indigo after their first legit wash, particularly in the honeycombs.

Eli’s worn the pair every day and has some accelerated fading and distressing in the pockets thanks to the help of his trusty Zippo (carried in the coin pocket), Leatherman tool (in the front left), Aegis Handcraft Ellis card holder (in the left back), and phone, of course.
