This week’s Fade Friday features my current pair of raw denim. It’s still a work-in-progress, but I’m pretty happy with how it’s coming along. My goal is to work on these for 2 years, and I’ve been faithfully worn them everyday since January 1, 2011.
I have a few other pairs that are waiting to be worn, but I can’t bring myself to add another pair in my rotation. Call me traditional, but I’m a one-jean kind of guy.

I wasn’t sure how I felt about the creases once they set, but they grew on me. The creasing pattern is a bit wider and spread apart than it would on tighter jeans. You should be able to identify that these jeans fit more loose than tight.
“Je t’adore toute nue” is French for “I love you naked.” The selvedge detail is on the inside of the coin pocket (not shown).
