It isn’t every day that a brand like Alden reaches out and offers up a chance for a collaboration, so when they presented that chance to SoCal’s own Snake Oil Provisions, the company was eager to jump on it. This is the second brainchild (click here to see the first) of the two brands’ special make ups (SMU’s), titled the Temple Oxford as a tribute to SOP’s brick and mortar location.
Setting out to create a versatile and endlessly stylish everyday shoe, Snake Oil Provisions chose to run with a tough to snuff suede upper with white moc stitching. Alden’s signature TrueBalance last and an antique all-around welt attaches these puppies to a lightweight Goodyear black wedge sole – a nice alternative to the popular white wedge sole moc-toes we are all familiar with. Brass eyelets and waxed laces tie this package up and will keep you proper in the office or as casual as you want on the weekends.
Available for $535 at Snake Oil Provisions.
