Raw denim jeans are great, and so are raw denim jackets. Thankfully, reader Patrick Gorman of Hong Kong sent us this classic Wrangler-Blue Bell 124MJ jacket that he’s owned for four years.
Washed once since being purchased, his selvedge denim jacket has all the hallmarks of a true vintage garment. The overall fading is fairly substantial given that it’s likely decades old; this is totally expected. That larger fade on the right hip is definitely unique, and the dye in the cuffs and collar is all but faded out. Small stains and some solid crease patterns give the jacket a sweet appearance that suggests it’s a trusted daily choice for Patrick’s life in Hong Kong’s precious few cooler months.
