Nils Johansson of Sweden is no stranger to the Heddels Fade of the Day features. In fact, today marks his fifth appearance, showing off the awesome state of his beloved Nudie Gunnar Raw Denim Shirt at a measured nine months of wear.
You may remember seeing this shirt last August, marked at seven months of wear. Nils estimates he only put about 60 days on it since then, so while he has owned the shirt for almost twice as long, we are only counting days of wear, in which case nine months is more than a serious commitment. OK, that’s enough math for one fade.
It’s awesome to see the fades kept a comin’ over the last year, with even more honeycomb insanity happening in the arms and some beautiful elbow fades to match. The entire shirt has lightened considerably since the day of purchase, and anyone that has faded a denim top knows that it takes some serious commitment to do so.
