Tellason, one of San Fransisco’s most noted denim makers, may just have changed the trucker jacket game, or at least made it rougher. Their Made in Italy Full Grain Rough Out Leather “Jean” Jacket is hand-cut and sewn in a small Italian factory, maintaining the brand’s focus on detail and quality manufacturing.

It takes on the style of a typical Type III with one obvious difference. That’s some full grain hide you’re seeing, which will no doubt last a lifetime given proper care. As if wearing through a denim jacket wasn’t hard enough. It’s hard to imagine anyone could take the Type III trucker style and improve upon it but that notion has been kicked to the door.
