Fade of the Day – Naked & Famous Okayama Spirit (10 Months, 1 Soak)

For many denim enthusiasts, the art of the “perfect fade” comes through a certain lack of caring. Caelan Chornoboy of Manitoba, Canada, embraces this theory and put it to use in his everyday life wearing this pair of Naked & Famous Okayama Spirits for the last ten months.

Hunting, camping, motorcycle riding, and surviving a Canadian winter are just a few of the things these jeans have seen this past year, with no signs of stopping anytime soon. They were even worn post-ACL surgery with a knee brace on for weeks straight, and all of this with no washes to speak of.

These jeans have lightened up a ton in this time, with awesome knee and feet fades and some textbook honeycombs taking formation. There have been several self-repair jobs made to the back leather patch and pocket, which is good because when you wear you jeans this hard it pays to be able to fix them.
