It’s funny, among all the premium denim we get in our fade inbox, sometimes it’s a pair of good ol’ standard Levi’s that really catch our eye. This pair of Levi’s 517 Bootcut belong to Sean Coblentz of Colorado, who has been wearing them hard for six months.

Sean tells us the lightweight, sanforized denim was tough to fade, but these Levi’s are well on their way now. Whiskers have emerged through the heavily faded lap, and roping has developed all the way down the inseam and along the hems. We’ve also got some train-track fades for good measure.

No special fabrics, no gimmicks, just simple, solid fades. And that’s why they’re today’s Fade Of The Day.
