Fade of the Day – A.P.C. Petit Standard (1 Year, 4 Months, 8 Washes, Unknown Soaks)

What time is it? Fade time! Today’s belt-holder is a homecoming story of sorts, as Zurich, Switzerland’s Mischa Müller used our denim finder tool while on vacation to locate the A.P.C.s he’d been craving at Tenue de Nimes in Amsterdam.

Mischa wore the pair almost daily prior to the first wash at about the eight month mark. He worked, skateboarded, bicycled, motorbiked, you name it, in these. Speaking of motorbiking, he pointed out some burns from his Ducati’s exhaust to his right thigh. Alongside the unavoidably tall honeycombs and streaking whiskers is the answer to the eternal question, “Who do I reach out to when I need to borrow an iPhone 5 charger when visiting Zurich?” Look at that unmistakable 5 fade in the back right pocket. That thunderbolt cable can’t be far behind.

To finish the pair off, we’ve got some tasteful repairs done, for the most part, by Mischa himself.
