The Barn Coat Enters Knickerbocker’s Cutting Room in a Range of Colors

If I had the option to pre-order all my jackets at a pre-sale price, but I had to do it in one of five predetermined colors, I’d be a very happy (and broke) man. If this luxury also tickles your fancy, Knickerbocker has introduced the Barn Coat to their made-to-order service, The Cutting Room.

The Barn Coat is Knickerbocker’s take on the staple of all workwear staples — the chore coat. They’ve tailored the fit for a more contemporary silhouette, but stayed true to the classic four-pocket build with the inclusion of adjustable cuffs. The super lightweight 9oz. Japanese Herringbone Twill comes in four neutral colors including black, natural, olive, and navy. And there’s also a raw denim option that’s constructed from a mid-weight 12.75oz. Cone Mills denim, finished with redline selvedge detailing and some poppin’ contrast stitching. Each jacket is pre-shrunk with raglan sleeves, felled construction, branded brass tack buttons, and comes correct with a Knickerbocker patch on the front-left chest pocket.

Available for the pre-sale price of $240 until the end of May at Knickerbocker.
