Fade of the Day – Corter Leather Standard Utility Belt (16 Months)

Oh veg tan leather, how we love thee. Today’s Fade—or, rather, patina—of the Day was sent in to us by Heddels reader Gray of Springfield, Missouri, where he rocked this Corter Leather Standard Utility belt for the last sixteen months, turning it from an untouched bit of leather to a well-worn piece of functional art.

For such a short amount of time, this belt has really gone places. It’s seen Puerto Rico, Montreal, and multiple trips to Colorado, and was even there on the day that Gray got married, yet still has a ton of life left. Received as a Christmas gift back in 2015, this belt shows its wear all over, darkening to that gorgeous shade of saturated brown veg tan leather is so apt to take on over time.

All that is to say it looks better now than the day he got it, so this belt will continue on for some more years yet.
