Anoraks are a curious item. Most are highly covetable, however more often than not they either have four or five more kooky details than you can realistically picture on you person. And they also tend not to open in the front, which doesn’t really allow for much versatility in a changing climate. Bucking all that is Wilson & Willy’s, who dispense with the quirks and stick to a sound game-plan with their unfussy Dry-Wax Anorak.
Intended as a functional shell to be worn over a few insulating layers or just a simple tee, this US-made 2.0 version of the jacket features a British 8oz. dry wax canvas to help manage the rain. With such a simple design, nice details make all the difference and W&W complimented the jacket with genuine horn buttons, a riri zipper, and matte black grommets. Now that’s an easy wearin’ Anorak.
