Today’s Fade of the Day comes to us from from Lubbock, Texas, via Heddels reader Tyler Colville, who really earned his spot today with his DSTLD Slim 24 Dips, a pair that isn’t so easy to fade. Those 24 dips absolutely load the denim with indigo for starters, but then, when you mix in the 2% spandex, it only gets harder.

Still, Tyler has made some nice headway thanks to daily wear to and from school, time spent in the great outdoors, and volunteering at an animal shelter. While some honeycombs and whiskers are starting to show a bit of contrast, it’s his distressing that has made the most headway so far. A crotch blow out, rips, tears, and snags pepper the jean (some with repair work) each doing a good job to highlight how hard Tyler works at the animal shelter. Come to think of it, are those teeth marks?
