Fade of the Day – Levi’s 501 STF (3 Years, 7 Washes)

While we always appreciate awesome fades from contemporary denim brands such as Samurai, Sage, and Warehouse and other fade kings, sometimes you just can’t beat good ol’ pair of Levi’s 501’s. That’s why they’re today’s Fade of the Day.

Levi’s were originally sold to gold and silver miners in the late nineteenth century, and it looks like Australian Heddels reader Darren Zhong struck gold big time, when he scored this pair of Levi’s 501 from a U.S. outlet for $30!

We’ve got all the classic Levi’s hallmarks here, with washed-out denim, worn-down thighs, roping, and train track fades all out in full force. But that’s not all: After three years of daily wear—with the occasional spot of golf or fishing—Darren has earned himself some solid whiskers and honeycombs that are very admirable for a pair of high-street Levi’s.
