Manastash Mordechai Mt. Gorilla Jacket

Fewer things in life are more comforting than a warm fleece on a cold winter day. Growing up in New England, it was pretty much a given that everyone in the family owned at least one, and often times they contained at least one funky color or pattern. The latest release from Manastash brings back the warm fuzzies—in the most literal way possible—with the appropriately named Mordechai Mt. Gorilla Jacket.

For a fleece this sweet, Manastash teamed up with NYC subculture style icon Mr. Mort (aka Mordechai Rubinstein) and pulled out all the stops for a truly special release. Constructed with an ultra-rare deadstock 100% polyester fabric from the Manastash Japanese archives, this patterned fleece is a blast from the past, even down to the vintage boxy fit. It features two front lower pockets, elastic at the cuffs and hem, and a “Mordechai” woven label on the neck. Wear it with pride, just make sure you don’t let the Deadheads get their hands on it.

Available for $221 at Oi Polloi.
