Oni’s Latest Jean is Black and Blue

Sit back and relax, man, the tension is low here for the latest release from the legendary denim masters at Oni—and I mean that literally. These new 622AIZUMI Jeans are woven with low tension and include some very interesting details that will bring out the inner denim nerd in all of us.

For this release, Oni took their popular 622 relaxed tapered fit and put a new spin on it with some 16oz. indigo-dyed warp, black sumi ink-dyed weft, 100% cotton brand-original denim that’s both hardy and rich with irregular slubby textures. These jeans feature black enamel-coated steel buttons and black powder-coated copper rivets—keeping with the slightly darker theme throughout—along with herringbone twill pocket bags, red and blue selvedge ID, and a stamped leather back patch. A limited release through Blue in Green, they also feature plain, arc-less back pockets, so you can channel your focus solely on the wonderful qualities of the denim.

Available for $250 at Blue in Green.
