Viberg Releases Their Derby Boots in Natural Horsehide

If you love boots and have poor impulse control, you may want to close your eyes and/or turn off your computer before you read any further. All good? Okay, let’s continue…

Viberg’s latest version of their Derby Boot is made from natural horsehide is (ostensibly) a simplified version of their classic Service Boot pattern. A brogue toe cap is the only design flare on this otherwise minimalist boot, but the real magic happens behind the scenes. French binding, a kip-lined interior, and channelled insole are just a few of the technical details that make Viberg stand out from other Goodyear-welted bootmakers.

The natural horsehide will serve as a durable blank slate that will patina marvelously over time. But even out of the stable, without any major wear, they look incredible.

These boots are available from Viberg for $760.
