After almost two years without any fade submissions, Warehouse is back with a bang, annihilating all in its path to reach this edition of Fade Friday. This pair of Warehouse x Blue in Green Dubbleworks 660 jeans come to us from Christophe of Belgium, who wore them for one-and-a-half years before making this epic submission. If you were looking for some fade inspiration for the weekend ahead, boy, you got it.
Christophe hasn’t revealed anything unusual about how he earned these fades, apart from recording one pre-soak and a cold wash during their tenure. The denim has worn down to a beautiful washed-blue that allows the chalky white fades and slubby texture to stand out brilliantly. The whiskers stack up to the front pockets and span down the thighs, which are shredded in their own right. On the flip-side, we have more dye loss and a pair of solid honeycombs which are just starting to shred.
Sadly, Christophe has now grown out of these jeans, and plans to move them on or exhibit them. And we don’t think there’s a denim store in the world that would turn down the chance to have these beauties on the wall.
