It’s time for Fade of the Day and we’ve got some beetle-crushing patina for you to feast your eyes on. This pair of Thorogood 6″ Soft Toe Boots belong to Pete Sullivan from the U.K. who’s submitted them to us after three years of hard wear.
Pete picked these boots up for a bargain price in Hong Kong and he tells us they’ve been in regular rotation ever since. The leather has developed a charmingly deep patina over the years, and Pete’s regular mink oil treatments have helped softened the hide beautifully and encouraged healthy creasing. If that wasn’t enough, he’s even kept the soles super clean to emphasize the rugged patina of the leather uppers.
