You probably know the old saying, “keep your friends close and Cthulhu closer” …right?
Well, Nine Lives has, and they clearly have taken this made-up idiom to heart with their new Ventile Bomber. The jacket has the high-quality materials and construction Nine Lives is lauded for, as well as the humor and sense of play that sets the brand apart from the competition. A 9.7oz. waterproof outer and super-hardcore YKK zipper make up the exterior of the jacket, but the cool stuff is under the hood.
The jacket is lined with Cthulhu-heavy artwork by Florian Bertmer, printed on 100% rayon that is sinfully soft to the touch. The German illustrator’s artwork is characteristically edgy and vibrant, and Nine Lives proves to us (yet again) how one avant-garde detail can reframe a classic.
