It’s been a few months since we’ve seen fades from Canadian denim brand, Viapiana, but they’re back and better than ever in this edition of Fade of the Day. Coming to us from Staton Winter from Washington, D.C., this pair of custom handmade Viapiana jeans have seen two years of wear and they’re well on their way.

Staton says his fade recipe is nothing special — just good old daily wear and the occasional wash — and his jeans show that sometimes that’s all you need. The indigo dye has broken down nicely, especially on the knees and pockets, and solid whiskers have developed across the lap and down the inner thighs. In addition to some sweet roping on the yoke and hems, Staton has earned some subtle, crinkly honeycombs that have a lot of potential going forward.
