Porter Morphs the Classic Military Helmet Bag into a Duffle Bag

If anyone loves a traditional military helmet bag, it’s Japan’s Porter. They tend to take the key elements of the bag—such as high-grade nylon, exterior pockets, and a brightly colored, onion-quilted interior—and stretch, morph and augment those details into a wide range of functional shapes.

Their latest made-in-Japan take is a duffle bag made from 210 denier 6 nylon yarns, which can be carried by the handles or over the shoulder via its removable strap if that’s what you prefer. Three zippered exterior pouches are affixed to the exterior, with a removable security pocket, additional larger pocket and bright orange onion-quilt nylon on the interior.

Maybe most importantly, it’s extremely lightweight, which is always appreciated no matter how many helmets you’ve stuffed inside.
