Fade of the Day – Levi’s Vintage Clothing 1967 505 (15 Months, 3 Washes)

Today’s Fade Of The Day focuses on a classic Levi’s Vintage Clothing design: the 1967 505. But keen eyes will likely have already noticed something a bit strange about this particular pair. Sent in by the Fade of the Day veteran Chris Carlsson, this pair features the addition of a cinch back commissioned by Chris in order to avoid excess bagginess in-between washes. Pretty cool.

Chris travels plenty, both for work as a designer and for pleasure, and hikes when he can. We love the rich blueberry color gushing throughout this pair. Jeans that have the capability of turning a shade like this really come alive when the indigo is worn down a bit, and of course, it only helps to highlight the fades as they start showing up.

The fades look great, but it’s the whiskers in the lap that really draw your eye. They’re not only the highest-contrast fades ever, but they’re high quality regardless.
